FAQ

According to the CVSS metric, the attack complexity is high (AC:H). What does that mean for this vulnerability? Exploiting this vulnerability would require an attacker modify the response to take the desired action. An attacker would also have to rely on compromising the principal consuming the SDK, which is beyond attacker's control. What kind of security feature could be bypassed by successfully exploiting this vulnerability? Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to bypass the challenge-response validation that verifies a Key Vault authentication challenge before it is cached. This could allow a client to send an access token or request data to an untrusted host instead of the intended Key Vault service.
